This website is the work of Hilary Vernon author of the highly acclaimed readers choice "The Allen Illustrated Guide to Bits and Bitting", Also her other top Equestrian books "The Allen Illustrated Guide to Training Aids" and "The Allen Illustrated Guide to Horse Clothing" and "The Allen Illustrated Guide to Saddlery" and the very successful DVD "Informed Bitting" Hilary has spent 20 years in the Saddlery Trade; she is also a qualified Riding Instructor, keen Carriage Driver and Rider. Over the last 6 years she has worked as a full time Bitting Clinician travelling over the U.K and parts of Europe lecturing and demonstrating on the art of Bits and Bitting
